After School Sport Clubs

Please find the timetable for our extra-curricular sport clubs for this half term attached below.

We will be offering a range of sport clubs throughout this year, so please keep a look out in your emails for these updates.

 

Sporting Events & Competitions

We are proudly part of Ellesmere Port School Sport Partnership (SSP).  The E'Port SSP supports all 43 primary schools & 5 high schools within the Ellesmere Port, Helsby/Frodsham & Neston area to ensure that ALL of our young people get the highest quality School Sport & PE that they deserve. Through Level 1 & Level 2 School Games competitions, the E'Port SSP aims to improve and drive participation and increase the number of young people taking part in competitions. They develop competitive opportunities for ALL, including the least active.

The E'Port SSP events calendar is attached, and as a school, we aim to enter as many events as possible. The calendar is colour-coded to show the different levels of competitiveness - you can find the key at the top of the calendar. 

 

Sports for Champions! 

Thursday 18th April 2024! 
 
Danny Purvis, Olympic medalist Gymnast, will be coming to Woodlands to go head to head with the pupils! Danny will be delivering an inspirational assembly all about his career, achievements, training regimes and sacrifices made. As well as talk about the highs and lows of his career. After this the children in classes will go head to head with Danny to complete 4 simple circuits.

Your child will also be bringing home a sponsor form to fill in if they wish to receive sponsors from family or friends.
