This week's we would like you to consider key tips to prepare for a deadly earthquake. You have a choice of activities; either creating a storyboard for a TV advert or a poster to explain how people, who live in countries prone to Earthquakes, can keep themselves safe before, during and after an furious earthquake tremor.
There is also a reading comprehension all about Earthquakes, and the usual picture comprehension for you to practice your inference and deduction skills.

There are some -sion activities attached for you to practice alongside spelling shed. These include a wordsearch and a spelling game. There is also a cursive handwriting sheet which you could note down the definitions to unfamiliar words.

Home Learning Tasks - 8 (29/06/2020)
Task 1 - Over the coming weeks, we would like you to watch the video of a Tsunami's. Whilst you watch, complete a senses grid - what would you be able to see, hear and smell? How would you feel? When you have done this, have a go at writing an eye-witness account detailing your frightening experience. Remember to showcase those year 4 writing skills - fronted adverbials, subordinating conjunctions and careful paragraphing.
Task 2 - Now we are nearing the end of your time in Y4, we would like you to write a letter to a 'new' year 4 child explaining what Y4 is like and detailing what experiences you had.
Task 3 - Have a go at the 'Moving to Y5 booklet' - You will be fantastic as you are all so ready!
