Welcome to Nursery!
We hope that you all had a wonderful summer holiday. The children are settling into school life superbly and have been busy exploring their new classrooms and making new friends.
We started this half term off with a space topic. The children have shared the stories of 'How to Catch a Star' in Foxes and 'Whatever Next!' in Squirrels. We have started some big art for display in our classrooms and are even working on constructing our very own space rocket. We can't wait to see what adventures we will have as we journey through space!
Running alongside our space topic, we will also be spending some time learning about our families. If you haven't already sent some photgraphs of your child and their family, please do so. They are an excellent aid to circle time discussions and the children love telling us who everyone is.
Can we please ask that all children have a pair of named wellington boots that can be left in school. Using the outdoor environment is a big part of our curriculum and we like to go outside whatever the weather.
Can we also ask that all children bring a small bag with a change of clothes into school with them. All items of clothing, water bottles and lunch boxes must be clearly labelled with your child's name.
Thank-you for your continued support.
