Welcome to Nursery!
We hope that you all had a wonderful summer holiday. The children are settling into school life superbly and have been busy exploring their new classrooms and are beginning to make new friends.
This half term we will be looking at a topic about 'Ourselves'. We have started to create self-portraits, having fun learning nursery and action rhymes as well as sharing stories. We would be very grateful if you could send in some photos of your families. They are an excellent aid to circle time discussions and the children love telling us who everyone is.
Can we please ask that all children have a pair of named wellington boots that can be left in school. Using the outdoor environment is a big part of our curriculum and we like to go outside whatever the weather.
Can we also ask that all children bring a small bag with a change of clothes into school with them. All items of clothing, water bottles and lunch boxes must be clearly labelled with your child's name.
We look forward to working together with you throughout the year. Please come and see a member of staff if you have any questions, concerns or simply want a little chat about your child.

This term we will be looking at winter, exploring ice and sharing seasonal stories. We will also be celebrating Chinese New Year, Mother’s Day, Easter and other exciting seasonal events.
Some children have come back with new water bottles, lunch boxes etc. Could we please remind you to label all these items with your child's name? We look forward to an exciting new term and, as always please don't hesitate to come and talk to a member of staff if you have any questions or concerns.
